My name is Katie Hutchings, and I am a speech-language pathologist currently pursuing my Clinical Doctorate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Myasthenia Gravis (MG) advocacy holds a very special place in my heart, as my dad-who was always my biggest supporter had MG.

As an SLP, I also have the privilege of working with individuals with MG who experience swallowing difficulties. These professional experiences, combined with my personal connection, have fueled my passion for this research.

It is both an honor and a privilege to dedicate my doctoral work to individuals with MG. Through this study, I hope to contribute to advancing care, raising awareness, and making a meaningful difference for those with MG.
